I've been DJing for years. None of that fancy beat-matching stuff though. When you book me for a DJ set, you're booking my taste, knowledge, and extensive record collection. I’ll always play some tunes you know, but I’ll also be playing some great songs that you might not know but will love! I'm not a wedding DJ playing past and present Top 10 hits!

Generally, I do three types of set. My sets are 100% vinyl. No laptops or CDs:

* Reggae & ska. This will cover 70s roots reggae, 60s ska, 2-Tone, rocksteady, interesting cover versions, Trojan, and maybe a smidgen of lovers rock, dancehall, and dub. 

* Soul & Funk. This will cover northern soul, Motown, funk, 60s R ‘n' B, interesting cover versions, Latin soul, and maybe even a smidgen of disco!

* Reggae, ska, soul & funk. Essentially a mix of the two above.

My rates:

* Up to 4 hours = £300 (minimum package)

* £65 per hour over 4 hours (maximum 6 hours in total)

There are no travel expenses to be paid within a 35 mile radius of my home. Any mileage over a 35 mile radius (e.g. a 70 mile round trip) will be charged at the standard rate of £0.55 per mile.

I use two Technics 1210 decks and have a PA system suitable for most pubs or similar size venues.  If you’re wanting me to DJ in something the size of an aircraft hangar, we’ll need to have a chat before booking!
