So, what’s been happenin’? Quite a bit, actually!
I’ve had a poem published in the new Beats, Bums, Punks, and Scumbags collection published by Back Room Poetry, alongside the likes of Billy Childish, Adrian Manning, Martin Appleby, Charles Bukoswi, TS Idiot, and many more. You can grab a copy here.

Also, after a fun interview on the Byte High No Limit podcast a few weeks ago, I also make an appearance in the new Teletext 50: The History of the first 50 years audio documentary. It’s a great documentary, and stuffed full of people that developed, and worked on, Ceefax/Teletext, along with some more unexpected figures such as Count Binface (space politician), Ricardo Autobahn from anarchic one-hit-wonders, The Cuban Boys (remember Cognoscenti vs. Intelligentsia AKA The Hamster Dance?), and, er, me! Have a listen here.
Whilst we're on podcasts, I was also featured on the new one from the excellent Mark Grist, Charley Genever, and Keely Mills - We, The Poets. Proper chuffed to have a reading of my poem, Ersatz Flamenco, featured. It's a wicked podcast, so you should check it out here.
If you missed my set at Manchester Punk Festival back in April, you can now remedy that by heading over to the MPRV News YouTube channel and watch the whole thing here.
If all this wasn’t enough, the finishing touches are just being made to Domesticated Volume 3, the latest (final?) instalment of the Domesticated series of books. With plaudits from luminaries such as Steve Ignorant, Mark Grist, Jerry A., Dick Lucas, Scott Coe, The Shend, Attila The Stockbroker, I can tell you for sure that this is the best yet, and I’m very proud of it.
I’ve got a spoken word set at Swinefest in York on Saturday 6th July, The Domestics are playing just up the road at Coda in Colchester on Friday 12th, and then I have spoken word sets at Word Habit in Sudbury on Sunday 21st, Boho Banter in my hometown (Farage Central!) of Clacton-on-Sea on 23rd, then I’m DJing (with my better half) at the Brewery Tap Summer Beer & Cider Festival on the evening of Friday 2nd August.
Hope to catch you at one or more of those things!
