A very quick update about gigs in September (how the hell is it September already?!?!?!?)
The Domestics support Finland’s excellent Kürøishi at The Steamboat, Ipswich on Saturday 19th – if you’ve been living under a (punk) rock, they feature members of the esteemed Terveet Kädet, which is a stamp of quality if ever there was one! Raging hardcore punk of the highest order! No advance tickets, just a tenner on the door. Passive Incomes also on the bill, featuring Sam from local hardcore heroes, Volunteers. WALLOP!
Spoken word wise, I have no fewer than six shows this month:
Weds 2nd: Hotbox Chelmsford, w/Andy Riley & more
Thurs 3rd: Good Shout @ Here We Aren’t, Peterborough
Thurs 10th: Word Vomit @ The Croissant of Inequality, Liverpool
Friday 11th: Speech Therapy @ Bunker’s Hill, Nottingham
Saturday 12th: Bradfield Literature Festival @ Chapters Coffee & Wine, Manningtree, Essex (shows at 11:30am AND 2:00pm!)
Sunday 13th: Hastings Book Festival w/ Andy Riley, Robin Ince, Roger McGough, Penny Pepper and many more throughout the afternoon!
