Hi All,
Just a quick update as there are a few things happening…

THE DOMESTICS…are supporting Japan’s mighty MELT BANANA this Sunday at Colchester Arts Centre. It’s an early start/finish and we’re on at 7.15, so don’t be late!
We’re also doing a weekender with GEVÄL in October, covering Liverpool, Bradford (Means To An End Fest), and Ipswich. If you’ve not heard them, GEVÄL sound like MOTöRHEAD meets Swedish hardcore. Brutal fun.
Oh, and we have a new T-shirt that just went up for pre-order over at Kibou Records HQ, featuring Lord Humungous from Mad Max. It’s a wicked shirt, and they’re only a tenner (and vegan-friendly and non-sweatshop)!

POETRY: The new book, the unsurprisingly titled ‘Domesticated Volume 3’ is officially out on 27th September, although it will be available at the Earth Island Books stall at Hastings Book Fair THIS SATURDAY! I’ll be manning the stall alongside old pal (ex-VOLUNTEERS, ex-JACOB’s MOUSE etc.) Sam Marsh, plus David and Louise from Earth Island. Sam and I will also be delivering 5 minute slots as part of the Henry Normal Open Mic event in the evening – come on down, have some drinks, and vote for us!

I’ll also be performing at Word Habit, at The Brewery Tap, Sudbury on Sunday 29th September, and you might even spot me very briefly at The Frinton Literary Festival on Wednesday 23rd September!
I’m also extremely pleased to say that I’ll be supporting the legendary Attila The Stockbroker in Ipswich on 11th October (his band will be playing as well as his poetry set, and East Town Pirates are also playing…should be a great night!).
DJing: Alongside my partner, Lucy, I’ll be spinning vinyl at the Halloween Funk ‘n’ Soul Party at The Brewery Tap, Sudbury at Halloween (evening of Sat 26th October).
OK, that’s all for now, I think. Adios!
