I have a stinking cold. But I’m bored of just lying around, so I’m gonna get off my sick bed and do a brief update (no doubt I’ll collapse back into a pit of self-pity, coughing-fits, and snot shortly afterwards).

My new book ‘Poets Day Dream’ is up for pre-order both at Earth Island Books and here on this site. It contains a number of those poems people ask me about after gigs, but have been unable to purchase in written form until now (I’ve been putting them to one side as I knew I wanted to do a whole book dedicated to work and school). I’m dead proud of it.
In case you missed it, I also had a small book out in January called ‘That’s Not Poetry!’ – another themed one; this time dealing with all things poetical. I expect some people will get the arse with me, but it’s not intended to offend. It’s just ideas, overheard conversations, and observations on the poetry world, put into verse. I really enjoyed putting it together. The only place you can grab a copy is here or at a gig. It’s only £6. It’s pretty cute that’s for sure.
Talking of gigs, there are, at the time of writing, 16 in the diary, with a few more TBC. If you want me to come and do my thing at your event, just drop me an email or whatever. If I can do it, I will.
Right, back to the sickbed!
